In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when translated, expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Taking the acronym of this phrase, ASICS was founded on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote total health and fitness. Today, ASICS offers a full line of performance-driven athletic shoes and technical active sports apparel and accessories dedicated to bringing harmony to the body and soul.
The pinnacle of the ASICS stability tennis line, the GEL Resolution 5 doesn't disappoint. The newest edition to this series features an improved Flexion Fit upper design providing oneofakind upper comfort, in addition to a redesigned PGuard improving upper flexibility.

How To Serve

How you can get your elbow into the correct trophy position .

You might not know where your elbow is suppose to be in relation to your body, and there is a very good chance your elbow is in the wrong place in the trophy position.

Your elbow might be too high or too low and stays in line with the body instead of it clearing the body. The bottom line is that you probably have never been told or shown how to get the elbow in the right place in the trophy position.

A great concept to focus on to improve this all important position is to try to "Elbow The Enemy" on your serve.

USA Andy Roddick vs Serbia's Novak Djokovic 2012 Olympics 2 Round

Novak Djokovic was playing awesome tennis & hit so many winners.
Andy Roddick second set 1-4 30-40 I think replay would of been right call or at least use hawkeye.

Some people may say that Roddick serve was off or that he was not going all out but, I feel that Andy Roddick trying his best it's just that Novak Djokovic was playing so great & hit so many winners & served great as well made it impossible for Roddick to get in the match.

Ana Ivanovic vs. Jelena Jankovic R3 2013

How To Serve In Tennis

The Proper Tennis Serve Swing
The Serve is the best shot in the sport of tennis if you have a weak first/second serve you will have be able to break their serve every time just to stay in the set or match.

Think about this most pro tennis sets end with 6-4 or 6-3 that is only one break of serve!

How do you serve?

The State of United States Tennis

Is there actually a problem with American tennis? And what's next for the U.S.
For me, I don't see the next Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, Andre Agassi or Andy Roddick but, I see Donald Young maybe can become an top 20 or 15 player. And for the women tennis I believe Sloane Stephens, Jamie Hampton, Madison Keys and more can become in top 15 or 10 players.

What do you think will happen?

Maria Sharapova vs Heather Watson 2011 US Open Highlights

3 set-match between two-great players, I liked that it was not all one sided and great shots from both of them. I still don't like how loud Maria Grunts are.
I believe that Grunting is okay but not that loud.

How to Hit Backhand Slice

Backhand slice is great to set up your next shot because most people can't outright kill the ball from the slice, what will happen if they try most likely the ball is going out of the court.

Backhand slice benefits
1. Your opponent can't kill the ball.
2. Give you time to get ready for your set up.
3. Backhand slice is good if you like to volley because it give you time to get to the net.
4. Get your opponent out of position.
5. Hurt opponent’s rhythm.

Even Rafael Nadal uses the one handed backhand slice!
